Corrections Policy
How we fix mistakes, and how to tell us about one.
Last updated 22 October 2026. Applies to users in India.

Our commitment
We work hard to get things right. When we get something wrong, we correct it promptly and say so.
How to report an error
Email connect@tracklist.in with the subject line "Correction", the link to the story and what you believe is wrong. Please include a source if you can.
What we do
- We review every report and aim to reply within three working days.
- Significant factual errors are corrected in the story, with a dated note at the end explaining what changed.
- Minor errors such as spelling, typing or formatting are fixed without a note when they do not change meaning.
- If a story is fundamentally wrong, we may add a prominent editor's note or, in rare cases, unpublish it with an explanation at the same address.
Clarifications and updates
When a story is not wrong but needs more context, we add a clarification. When news develops, we add a dated update rather than silently rewriting the story.
Complaints
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled a correction, you can escalate it to our Grievance Officer.
