Arijit Singh Announces Nine-City Stadium Tour To Mark 20 Years In Music
The run starts in Ahmedabad in January and ends in Hyderabad in May 2027. It is his biggest India tour yet, and the first since he walked away from playback.

Arijit Singh will play nine Indian cities between 9 January and 15 May 2027 on a stadium-scale tour marking 20 years in music. He announced it on 5 October. It is the biggest India tour of his career, and it comes nine months after he shocked fans in January by retiring from playback singing to focus on solo work.
The timing is what makes this tour interesting. For two decades Singh's catalogue has been made of film songs, from "Tum Hi Ho" and "Agar Tum Saath Ho" to "Vida Karo". He no longer makes those songs. This tour is his first chance to show, on a stadium stage, what a post-playback Arijit Singh set looks like.

A busy spring
The tour isn't Singh's only big date in early 2027. On 20 March he headlines UNIFYD, the new one-day festival curated by Shah Rukh Khan at Etihad Live on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, alongside Karan Aujla and Sonu Nigam. That falls a week after his Bengaluru show and a week before New Delhi. For a singer who stepped back from film work, he is about to spend a lot of time in front of very large crowds.
What he said
"20 years of music is a journey I feel very grateful for," Singh said in a statement. "The greatest part of it has always been the people, the listeners who have given these songs a life of their own. I'm really looking forward to travelling across India and experiencing that love together, live on stage. There are so many songs, so many memories and so many people to meet. I can't wait."
The production
These are big shows. The production will feature 360-degree spatial audio, kinetic LED fixtures, panoramic screens, laser arrays and stadium-scale pyrotechnics. For a singer whose reputation rests on quiet, aching ballads, that is a lot of hardware. How he balances the two will decide whether these nights feel like a concert or a fireworks display with songs.
The setlist hasn't been announced. Expect the film hits. The question is how much room he leaves for the solo material that took him away from playback in the first place. Ahmedabad will give the first answer on 9 January.
