Most Indian indie tours stick to the same map: Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Pune and perhaps Hyderabad if the numbers work out. Osho Jain's new tour plays all of those. It also goes to Meerut, Dehradun, Kanpur, Varanasi, Siliguri, Guwahati, Raipur, Nagpur, Bhubaneswar, Rajkot and Manali.

The tour is called Osho Jain Experience | Mere Ghar Chalo. According to its producer and promoter, Oriole Entertainment, it opens in Bengaluru on 28 November and Hyderabad on 29 November. It then runs through December, January and February before closing with Pune on 13 March and Mumbai on 14 March 2027. It is a long route for a songwriter whose catalogue was built at bedroom scale.

The catalogue

Jain's biggest song is "Dekha Hi Nahi", track three on his 2024 EP Uff. He liked it enough to release it again as a single in 2025, this time with Sanchi. Fans will also know "Tu Aisa Kaise Hai?" (2020), "Khud Se" from the Wahaan EP and "Humara Ho Gaya" from the 2021 album Saar. In 2026 he put out live versions of "Humara Ho Gaya", "Khud Se" and "Tujhse Badhkar Nahi Hai" recorded at the Royal Opera House in Mumbai in 2025.

He has film credits too. "Ishq Tera" appears on the Article 370 soundtrack, and he sings on "Yeh Safar" from Citadel: Honey Bunny. Those credits sit to one side of the catalogue rather than at its centre. The tour listing describes him as "known for his introspective songwriting and poetic music, exploring themes of love, loss, and personal growth", with a repertoire of more than 50 songs.

The new one

"Teri Marzi Hai" came out on 10 October. It is a single song of 3:11, released under Jain's own name, and it follows "Gayenge Hum Tere Hi Liye", another 2026 single. Jain is both composer and rights holder. Indie songwriters who own their own masters are still unusual enough in India to be worth noting.

A gig built like a house visit

The format is where Mere Ghar Chalo gets interesting. The official tour page promises that Jain will take the audience "back to his childhood, the places he grew up, the memories that shaped him, and the stories that found their way into his music". It says the evening should feel "less like a concert and more like spending time together in his living room". The pitch ends with a line you won't often see on a ticketing page: "So, come in. Make yourself comfortable."

The band are long-time collaborators: Varun Agnihotri on guitar and vocals, Pulkit Jain on keys, vocals and guitar, Bharat Chandore on drums and vocals, Jordan Machado on bass, and Jayesh Malani on saxophone and guitar. Special guests are promised. The Delhi show on 18 December is listed at 90 minutes.

Why the route matters

Streaming has let independent artists build audiences in cities that touring never reached. The open question has been whether those listeners will buy a ticket. Jain is testing it across more than 30 dates, from Kochi and Coimbatore to Siliguri and Guwahati. The big live headlines this year belong to film voices booking stadiums. Jain is betting on rooms small enough for a living-room show, and on a song people in Raipur have so far only heard through their earphones.
